Expert Joins Prager Metis in Audit Group

New York-based Prager Metis (FY18 net revenue of $98.2 million) announces that Ahmed Mohidin has joined the firm’s audit group and been admitted as its newest partner.

Ahmed will be based out of the Woodland Hills, Calif., office.

Prager Metis Acquires Frank & Company

New York-based Prager Metis (FY18 net revenue of $98.2 million) announced it has acquired Frank & Company of McLean, Va.

The combination will expand Prager Metis’ presence into the Washington, D.C., area. Robert Frank, Marnette Myers and Matthew Frank will join Prager Metis and be admitted as partners. Scott Davis will join as principal. Frank & Company will remain in their office located at 1360 Beverly Road.

His responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and review of accounting and auditing projects; the preparation and review of financial statements; coordination of audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance; and the presentation of audited financial statements and reports to management and boards of directors.

Prager Metis’ Roth Named MP for the Northeast Region

New York-based Prager Metis CPAs (FY18 net revenue of $98.2 million) announced that Lori Roth has been named MP for the Northeast Region effective June 5.

Prager Metis has combined the New York and the Mid-Atlantic Regions to form the new Northeast Region. As MP for the Northeast Region, Roth provides leadership and guidance to partners and team members. Prior to this new role, Roth was the MP of the Mid-Atlantic Region, which she has grown tremendously in the last four years.

S. A. Koenig & Associates CPAs provides tax, accounting and auditing, consulting and wealth management services to a wide variety of industries, including labor unions, construction contractors, real estate and benefit plan audits. Steven A. Koenig and Donna Disclafani will be joining Prager Metis as partners.

Prager Metis CPAs Opens Bergen County Office

The Aug. 1 opening of the new Hackensack office was facilitated by Whitman Business Advisors. The firm also has offices in Basking Ridge and Cranbury.
