Skoda Minotti Expands to Downtown Cleveland

Cleveland-based Skoda Minotti (FY17 net revenue of $53.7 million) announces its expansion to downtown Cleveland.

Skoda Minotti will lease approximately 10,000 square feet of office space on the eighth floor of the Fifth Third Center at 600 Superior Ave. Occupancy is expected to begin in the fall with approximately 40 to 50 employees. The firm’s existing office is located in Mayfield Village, just east of the city.

To support this growth, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a Job Creation Tax Credit for Skoda Minotti. The six-year, 1.2% tax credit paves the way for creation of more than 20 full-time Skoda Minotti jobs in the city of Cleveland which are expected to generate $1 million in new annual payroll for the city.

Chairman Gregory J. Skoda says, “Our expansion into downtown Cleveland is a milestone for us – it puts our professionals within close proximity of many downtown clients, which helps us serve them more effectively; it strengthens our efforts to recruit and retain top talent; and it underscores our commitment to strengthening our region as a whole.”

Skoda Minotti worked closely with economic development organizations TeamNEO and Greater Cleveland Partnership to enable this growth. “As a region, Northeast Ohio is gaining momentum, thanks to partnerships among local organizations, businesses and government,” says Bill Koehler, Team NEO’s CEO. “Skoda Minotti’s expansion demonstrates what happens when organizations join forces to achieve success.”
