Grant Thornton Buys Life Sciences Consulting Firm

Chicago-based Grant Thornton (FY17 net revenue of $1.75 billion) has acquired TayganPoint Consulting Group of Washington Crossing, Pa., a life sciences consulting firm based in the Philadelphia area.

Founded in 2009, TayganPoint advises global organizations navigating transformation management projects, with particular expertise in health care and life sciences. TayganPoint focuses on business transformation and organizational change, business process improvement, and strategy alignment and execution.

Approximately 70 employees and five senior executives will join Grant Thornton from TayganPoint. Co-founders Joy Taylor and John Cassimatis will join the leadership team of Grant Thornton’s business consulting practice as the go-to-market leader and life sciences industry leader, respectively.
