Skoda Minotti Promotes Murphy and Seitz to Principals

Cleveland-based Skoda Minotti (FY17 net revenue of $53.7 million) announced the promotion of Dennis Murphy and Matthew Seitz to principals.

As a principal in Skoda Minotti’s accounting and auditing group, Murphy devotes approximately half of his time to auditing construction contractors, where he routinely reviews and tests contracts, pay applications, change orders and job costs. Additionally, he assists clients who deal in cryptocurrency, such as receiving payment in bitcoin and paying employees in bitcoin.

Murphy has given national webinars on tangible property regulations issued by the IRS, which closely relate to business owners who own their own buildings. He is a member of and sits on the Executive Committee of the firm’s real estate and construction group. Murphy joined the firm in 2007 from an international accounting firm where he was an audit associate.

Seitz was promoted to director of strategic marketing in the firm’s strategic marketing services group. In this role, he works with clients to understand their marketing goals and objectives, then develops and executes strategic marketing plans. He also heads up the firm’s lead generation initiatives. His areas of experience include advertising, branding, content marketing, lead generation, public relations, social media and strategic marketing planning.

Seitz is a frequent author and speaker on a variety of marketing topics, including content marketing, lead generation and social media. Prior to joining Skoda Minotti, Seitz served as director of marketing for a Northeast Ohio-based professional services organization specializing in human resources.
