BlumShapiro Admits Krouse as Partner

West Hartford, Conn.-based BlumShapiro (FY16 net revenue of $76.5 million) admitted James Krouse as a partner.

Krouse is a partner in the tax department in Shelton, Conn. He joined the firm in 2017 from Grant Thornton, where he served as tax director. Krouse has more than 20 years of experience, serving clients in multiple industries, including privately held businesses, high-net-worth individuals and family offices. Krouse is well versed in assisting clients with tax controversies, specialized transactions and estate, gifts and charitable wealth planning.
