HCVT Admits Five Partners

Effective Jan. 1, Los Angeles-based Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt (FY16 net revenue of $128.3 million) admitted five partners: Kayla Hong, Jonathan Siao, Stephanie Wilkinson, Stacy Yamanishi, and Doris Yau.

Hong, tax partner, is based in Pasadena, Calif., and provides tax consulting and compliance services to clients across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. She is a member of the firm’s mergers and acquisition tax practice. Before joining HCVT, Hong served in the mergers and acquisitions tax practice at other Big 4 accounting firms.

Jonathan Siao

Jonathan Siao

Siao, tax partner, is based in Encino, Calif., and has more than 15 years of experience serving a variety of public and private companies. He provides tax advisory and compliance services for professional service companies, opportunity funds, high-net-worth individuals and real estate businesses, including the affordable housing industry sector.

Stephanie Wilkinson

Stephanie Wilkinson

Wilkinson, tax partner, has more than 12 years of experience and specializes in providing tax consulting and compliance services to tax-exempt organizations and is based in Westlake Village, Calif. She serves a variety of organizations including private foundations and public charities. Wilkinson began her career in public accounting at HCVT.

Stacy Yamanishi

Yamanishi, tax partner, is based in the Long Beach, Calif., and began her career in public accounting at HCVT. She specializes in providing tax consulting, compliance and wealth transfer services to high-net-worth individuals and families.

Doris Yau

Doris Yau

Yau, tax partner, has more than 14 years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to clients in the entertainment industry and joined HCVT from PwC. Yau has experience in partnership taxation and evaluates the tax complexities associated with waterfall arrangements and partnership income allocation.
