EY to Add Up to 600 Jobs in San Antonio

According to the San Antonio Express-News, New York-based EY (FY16 gross revenue of $11.2 billion) plans to create up to 600 full-time jobs in San Antonio.

In the article, Randy Cain, vice chair and MP in the southwest region says that EY plans to hire financial and IT professionals who will be supporting its advisory business in delivering financial services to clients that include major banks, insurance companies and wealth-management firms.

EY expects 125 workers will be hired by 2019, but it has committed to employing 600 workers within five years.

“Securing another EY office in San Antonio is yet another affirmation of San Antonio’s growing potential to attract and have world-class companies experience positive growth in our city,” says Mayor Ron Nirenberg.
