Chicago-based Baker Tilly Virchow Krause (FY16 net revenue of $522 million) has announced that partner Donna Massanova has been selected by the AICPA and Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs as a 2017 Women to Watch award recipient.

Massanova, the firm’s employee benefit plan audit practice leader, was recognized for her dedicated mentoring efforts and ability to foster success in others while attaining her own success.

“Mentorship and community stewardship have always been passions of mine and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be involved in many organizations throughout my career that allow me to coach and counsel others,” Massanova says. “I am honored by this recognition and by the support of my colleagues for the nomination.”

Massanova mentors women colleagues through Baker Tilly’s Growth and Retention of Women (GROW) program, accounting students at La Salle University and women and young professionals through her work with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She also conducts numerous trainings and seminars for developing leaders and frequently speaks at industry conferences.

“Donna’s leadership and commitment to the community make her an extraordinary advisor and team member,” says Joe O’Neill, Philadelphia OMP.

The Women to Watch Awards program was established in 2013, and Baker Tilly team members have been recognized every year since the program’s inception.
