Langenhorst & Self-Merritt CPAs of Spokane, Wash., will become part of Fargo, N.D.-based Eide Bailly (FY16 gross revenue of $259.4 million) on Jan. 16. Langenhorst & Self-Merritt bring two partners and five staff members to Eide Bailly, ranked No. 19 on the 2016 IPA 100 list of largest firms in the nation.
In 2014, Eide Bailly entered the state of Washington with the addition of McDirmid, Mikkelsen & Secrest, also of Spokane.
“Expanding in the state of Washington continues our strategy to grow west of the Mississippi River and into the Intermountain Region to fully serve mid-market clients,” says Eide Bailly MP/CEO Dave Stende. “Langenhorst & Self-Merritt will add depth to the services we offer clients, especially in the construction and nonprofit industries. We’re also looking forward to the community connections and years of experience they bring to Eide Bailly.”
The union increases the resources available to Spokane clients while retaining the personalized service that partners Jeri Self-Merritt and Hube Langenhorst have delivered over the years.
“We’ll be able to focus more on our clients and their needs now since we won’t be bogged down with the day-to-day details of running a small business,” says Langenhorst.
Langenhorst & Self-Merritt will move into Eide Bailly’s Spokane office. The firm has 29 offices located in 13 states.
