Atlanta-based HA&W, formerly known as Habif Arogeti & Wynne (FY15 net revenue of $73.5 million), has changed its name to Aprio.“Our new name, pronounced ‘ap-ree-oh,’ is derived from the root words for head and heart,” says MP Richard Kopelman. “It was inspired by what our clients and our associates told us is unique and special about our firm. At Aprio, we bring both our technical and consultative expertise (head) and deep client care (heart) to every challenge and to every opportunity.”
He adds, “Its sound is as modern, approachable and global as our team and our clients’ businesses have become.”
The new tagline is, “Passionate for what’s next.” Kopelman says, “At Aprio, we are passionate about helping you achieve your ‘next,’ whatever it may be.”
