Chicago-based Baker Tilly Virchow Krause (FY16 net revenue of $522 million) announces that Rebekah Martin, partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office, has been named a “Top Woman in Finance” by Finance & Commerce, a business publication.
Martin is the 15th member of Baker Tilly to receive this recognition since 2007.
Martin joined the firm in 2005 and was admitted as a partner this June. An emerging leader in the firm’s national higher education practice, she specializes in working with colleges and universities, as well as with not-for-profit organizations. Martin is heavily involved with Baker Tilly’s GROW (Growth and Retention of Women) program and as a mentor to younger staff.
“We value Bekah’s leadership in our firm, both as a mentor and in our national higher education practice,” Minneapolis OMP Jeffrey DeYoung says. “This is a well-earned achievement for Bekah and we celebrate this accomplishment with her.”
