Travis Wolff of Dallas (FY15 net revenue of $20.8 million) will merge on Jan. 1 with San Ramon, Calif.-based Armanino LLP (FY15 net revenue of $164.2 million), ranked No. 25 on the IPA 100 list of largest firms in the country. Both firms are members of Moore Stephens North America.
Armanino announced the agreement, which calls for the combined firm to operate as Armanino LLP from the existing Travis Wolff office. This transaction gives the firm its first foothold in Dallas.
“We are eager to join forces with the talented people of Travis Wolff. By entering Dallas, one of the leading economies in the country, we continue our expansion as the most innovative and entrepreneurial firm in the country,” says Andy Armanino, MP of Armanino. “Armanino’s consulting solutions and tax specialties seamlessly complement those of Travis Wolff’s Dallas team. Together we are poised to make a major positive impact for clients in Texas.”
Both firms offer core audit and tax services, while Travis Wolff complements and strengthens Armanino’s high-net-worth individual practice. Additionally, Armanino brings expanded services in audit and tax, as well as a consulting practice and business management services, including family office.
“This combination is the result of thoughtful consideration about our firm’s future growth,” says Perry Kaufman, MP of Travis Wolff. “Armanino is the perfect fit for us, both in client service approach and firm culture. Our clients and staff will greatly benefit from the deep bench of expertise Armanino brings with its wide breadth of industry experience and new innovative solutions we can now offer our clients.”
