Louisville, Ky.-based Mountjoy Chilton Medley (FY15 net revenue of $43.3 million), has increased its market presence with the addition of the Cincinnati practice of Greenville, S.C.-based Elliott Davis Decosimo (FY15 net revenue of $101.6 million).
MCM has nearly 300 employees across five offices, including locations in Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington, Ky., and Jeffersonville, Ind. The move, mutually agreed upon by both firms as a part of Elliott Davis Decosimo’s geographic realignment strategy, will allow MCM’s Cincinnati focus to increase significantly.
MCM entered the Cincinnati market in 2012 and merged with the former Cooney Faulkner & Stephens in 2015, moving into their Hyde Park offices. The partners joining MCM were formerly with Joseph Decosimo & Co., which has been a part of the Cincinnati business community since 1985.
This latest expansion will increase the MCM team of more than 60 professionals and other employees. “MCM has been in Cincinnati for several years, but we are looking to grow the business commensurate with the opportunities we see in this critical market,” says MCM MP Diane Medley. “Our industry and consulting expertise are great fits for the Cincinnati economy, and by adding new members to our existing team, we’ll be able to provide our clients with more expertise, more capabilities and more resources.”
“MCM has a reputation for being a great steward of both its clients AND its team, providing a broad base of high-level expertise and service to those it serves, and a Best Places to Work-winning culture to those providing that service,” says Mike Gentry, a longtime Cincinnati partner with Elliott Davis Decosimo and formerly with its predecessor Joseph Decosimo & Co.
“MCM is making increasing strides in the Cincinnati market,” says Crystal Faulkner, an MCM partner and Cincinnati market leader who recently joined the firm as a part of Cooney Faulkner & Stephens. “From client service to team culture, we’re raising the bar, and we will continue to do so with new team members.”
New team members will not only expand MCM’s offerings, but greatly expand the company’s footprint in Cincinnati. MCM’s market growth goals include adding more than 60 jobs and greatly expanding its office space in Cincinnati over the next three years.
