CliftonLarsonAllen Merges In Gottlieb, Flekier & Co.

Gottlieb, Flekier & Co. of Overland Park, Kan., joins Minneapolis-based CliftonLarsonAllen (FY14 net revenue of $599 million), effective Dec. 1.

“We talked to some smaller firms that wanted to act like a large firm,” says Gottlieb Flekier partner Steve Flekier. “We wanted a large firm that acted, operated and functioned as a small firm.”

Retaining the personal service and approach clients receive today is critical. At the same time, broadening the capabilities and resources available to meet clients’ needs is consistent with the commitment the Gottlieb Flekier team has always carried for its clients, the firm announced.

“It will be business as usual,” adds Gottlieb Flekier partner Jerry Gottlieb. “With a lot of upside.”

Shared values are essential. When a team is united around one priority — to bring clients the capabilities they want and need, when they need them — everyone benefits.

“Clients trust us to help solve their problems and reach their dreams,” says CLA Chief Practice Officer Terry Enger. “Jerry, Steve, Danielle and the entire team’s character and approach provide a strong, consistent CLA presence in Kansas. ”

Gottlieb, Flekier and Danielle Bordman will continue to lead the Overland Park office, establishing a CLA position in Kansas.

For 30+ years, the Gottlieb Flekier team has served clients across a spectrum of size and industry. They bring significant experience in real estate, construction, retail and manufacturing, as well as capabilities including litigation support, audit, accounting, estate planning and tax.

This is the third merger announced by CLA this month. Also joining CLA are Milwaukee-based Titus and Stanislawski & Harrison CPAs of Pasadena, Calif.
