CPA Associates International Taps Parness As President

CPA Associates International has announced that Michael Parness has been hired as the new president, replacing Jim Flynn, who will retire at the end of the year.

CPA Associates International is an association of independent and chartered accounting firms, with 148 members in 56 countries.

Parness is president and CEO of Parness Management and Consulting of Wayne, N.J., and is a wealth management consultant with Royal Alliance Financial Services, also of Wayne, N.J. He was formerly executive director of JHI, a global affiliation of accountants and business advisers.

As president, Parness’ focus will be on the growth of the association, while maintaining a culture of best practices and business development.

“It is a privilege to be part of a growing organization whose members are driven to provide their clients with nothing but the best in all aspects of accounting services,” says Paress. “I’ve had the opportunity to spend the past month engaging with members of the association, including board members and Jim Flynn, and I’m confident that CPAAI’s members are well positioned and eager to lead with innovations for their clients now and into the future.”
