Albert Stowe to Join Baker Newman Noyes

Portland, Maine-based Baker Newman Noyes (FY14 net revenue of $29.8 million) has announced today that Albert Stowe of Portsmouth, N.H., will join BNN effective Nov. 1.

All the employees will relocate to BNN’s new Portsmouth office.

Since 1988, Toby Stowe, the founder of Albert Stowe and his team have been serving commercial, not-for-profit, closely held business and individual clients throughout New Hampshire and Southern Maine. BNN’s practice in the region is focused on serving banking and financial services, health care, manufacturing and distribution, hospitality, not-for-profit, and professional services entities.

“Toby Stowe and his team are highly regarded professionals,” says Ellie Baker, BNN MP. “The joining of our teams provides our clients with even greater access to talent and resources as well as further expands our depth and breadth in the growing Portsmouth market.” She adds, “We consider Portsmouth and the Seacoast region a key market to expand our services and provide opportunities for our team members. This merger just makes sense.”

Stowe, who will become a tax principal of BNN, says “I look forward to working together to grow the firm’s Portsmouth practice while continuing to serve our clients with personal attention.”

BNN is ranked by INSIDE Public Accounting as one of the top 125 firms in the U.S. The firm recently expanded with a larger Boston office and the addition of Shatswell MacLeod & Company’s external audit and tax practices earlier this summer. With Toby Stowe’s practice, BNN will have approximately 75 employees in New Hampshire.
