New York-based WeiserMazars (FY14 net revenue of $158 million) is expanding its estate planning and tax capabilities with the addition of new partner, Gregory Black.
Black, who will be based in the New York office, was formerly a director in the private wealth services group at Grant Thornton and a staff attorney in the Stroock & Stroock & Lavan private client group.
Black specializes in high-net-worth clients, structuring sophisticated wealth transfer plans and providing income, estate and gift tax return compliance services.
“Gregory’s experience will be of significant benefit to our clients, particularly in light of a potentially fast changing environment in the current climate of political uncertainty around individual taxation,” says CEO Victor Wahba.
“I joined WeiserMazars because of the emphasis they place on working hand in hand with clients to ensure that they are receiving the best service possible – a commitment that mirrors my own,” Black says.
