Weaver Launches New IT Advisory Service: CEH Network Security Assessments

Fort Worth, Texas-based Weaver (FY15 net revenue of $95.1 million) recently launched a new IT advisory service that provides enhanced computer network security assessments performed by a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Trip Hillman is a senior consultant in Weaver’s IT advisory services and has met the requirements to earn the CEH certification from the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council). The CEH is a widely recognized certification obtained by individuals responsible for testing the security of computer networks and addresses common exploits, vulnerabilities and countermeasures using hacker techniques and tools.

This achievement allows Weaver to offer security assessments, such as vulnerability assessments and penetrations tests that are performed by a CEH.

This certification follows the announcement that Weaver recently became a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) firm approved by the PCI Security Standards Council to provide payment card industry data security assessments.

“We bring a different level of service to our clients with Trip’s information security certificate,” said John J. Mackel, Weaver’s MP and CEO. “This is just another example of how we are looking to bring a complete offering of IT advisory services to our customers. We pride ourselves as a firm that meets a variety of needs for our clients.”
