Brown Edwards Admits New Partners

Roanoke, Va.-based Brown Edwards & Company LLP (FY15 net revenue of $25.2 million) announced that they have admitted four new partners.

Billy Robinson is located in the firm’s Harrisonburg, Va., office and is a member of the construction financial services group. His assurance practice concentration is construction and real estate related companies, family-owned businesses and governmental agencies. He has been recognized as a “Super CPA” by a Virginia business publication as well as being named in the “Top 10 Business People – Under 40” by the Shenandoah Valley Business Journal.

Harold Holstein works in the Charleston W. Va., office where he serves a variety of business entities including construction, oil and gas production, timber and mineral extraction. He has extensive involvement with multi-state tax reporting, and is a frequent speaker on state and local taxation issues.

Christopher Banta is a member of the firm’s governmental financial services team and works in the Roanoke office. He has a wide range of experience working with privately held companies, not-for-profits, electric cooperatives, governmental and municipal entities.

John Hash, II is based in the Roanoke office and is a member of the firm’s education and not-for-profit services team. He has diversified audit and consulting experience with particular expertise serving small private colleges and universities and other types of not-for-profit organizations. He also serves the construction industry and truck and heavy equipment dealerships.
