Baker Tilly Names Seven New Partners

Chicago-based Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP (FY14 net revenue of $327.8 million) has named seven new partners, effective June 1.

Rose Ann Abraham started her career in public accounting more than 13 years ago and has been with the firm since 2006. Abraham specializes in employee benefit plan audits and manages Chicago’s employee benefit plan practice.

Jeff Blattner joined Baker Tilly in 2001 and is based in the firm’s Madison, Wis., office and specializes in the construction, real estate and affordable housing industries. Blattner has extensive experience in audit, consulting, tax planning and cost certification engagements for low income housing tax credit and historic tax credit entities nationwide, working with various state and federal agencies and equity investors.

Ken Fleming is located in Baker Tilly’s Washington, D.C. office. Fleming has been with the firm since 2007 and is a member of Baker Tilly’s financial advisory services practice, providing clients with transaction advisory, valuation, dispute and CFO advisory services. He has more than 16 years of public accounting and advisory experience, serving government contracting, software and technology, manufacturing, healthcare, biotechnology, business services, real estate, emerging growth and private equity clients.

Joseph Lightcap is a member of Baker Tilly’s public service practice group and specializes in providing accounting and auditing services to local governmental entities, including villages, counties and school districts. Lightcap is based in Baker Tilly’s Oak Brook, Ill., office and has been with the firm since 2000.

James McCann is based in Baker Tilly’s Washington, D.C. office. McCann has been with the firm since 2002. He specializes in tax compliance and consulting for owners and operators of commercial and residential real estate, as well as high net worth individuals.

Christine Trunnell has been with the firm since 2002 and is based in Baker Tilly’s Washington, D.C. office. She is a leader in the business information systems practice of the consulting group, specializing in enterprise solution integration, system and process optimization. Trunnell’s focus has been on delivering complex business solutions for clients in the non-profit, professional services and government contracting industries.

Jonathan Zeigler is a member of Baker Tilly’s insurance practice and is based in the Wyomissing, Pa., office. He has more than 10 years of experience providing assurance services to insurance clients, with a concentration in property and casualty and warranty companies.
