Armanino Admits New Audit Partner

San Ramon, Calif.-based Armanino LLP (FY13 net revenue of $112.8 million) announced the appointment of 15-year industry veteran Liam Collins as audit partner effective immediately. He will lead the firm’s national service organization control (SOC) practice as a dedicated provider.

“Liam’s ability to lead companies through SOC readiness and audit processes is unmatched. He’s known throughout the industry for his deep knowledge and dedication as a SOC practice leader,” says Andy Armanino, MP of Armanino. “His work has benefited hundreds of clients who rely on SOC report assurance to better serve their customers and protect their individual brand reputation.”

Previously, Liam was a managing director at KPMG, where he was engagement partner on numerous complex assurance projects and IT advisory lead partner on major public companies in the retail, health care, financial services and technology industries. Additionally, he has held a variety of audit, assurance and finance leadership roles at PwC, ControlMetric, Clare Chapman and Prodapt with experience in financial statement audit, IT audit, risk management, business continuity, IT regulatory compliance and financial controls.
