WeiserMazars Expands Not-for-Profit Practice with Addition of Partner

New York-based WeiserMazars LLP (FY13 net revenue of $142.4 million) announced that Ethan Kahn has joined as a partner in the not-for-profit practice. Based in the New York office, he will substantially strengthen the firm’s services to the not-for-profit sector, particularly in the area of consulting and audit services.

Previously, Kahn ran his own successful practice serving a range of not-for-profit organizations. He has more than 16 years of experience delivering audit, accounting and consulting services to the sector, and is particularly adept at delivering clear and sound advice to senior management and boards of directors.

“With increasing regulatory attention on not-for-profit organizations, their need for effective professional assistance is similarly growing,” says Victor Wahba, PIC of WeiserMazars’ New York office. “Ethan’s substantial background delivering services to the sector, particularly his expertise in the area of consulting not-for-profits and performing audits and compliance, will be of great value to our current clients as well as to organizations new to our firm, moving forward.”

“As a consultant, I have worked with a wide range of clients on matters that are critical to their organizations,” says Kahn. “I joined WeiserMazars because of the emphasis they place on delivering value-added advice to clients and their commitment to excellence.”
