Armanino Admits Nine Partners

San Ramon, Calif.-based Armanino LLP (FY13 net revenue of $112.8 million) announced it has admitted Tom Bondi, Larry Kuechler, Roberto Maragoni, Frank Minuti, Dan Moors, Randy Peterson, Todd Robinson, Robert Smiley and David Sheets as firm partners. These individuals have joined the Armanino leadership team from Berger Lewis Accountancy Corporation.

Bondi works with early-stage technology companies from seed funding through merger and acquisition and provides full service consulting and advisory services.

Kuechler advises companies and individuals in the area of business, tax and estate planning. His clients include for-profit developers, tax credit partnerships and apartment and commercial property owners.

Maragoni has spent his entire career in public accounting. He primarily works with closely held and family-owned businesses in the areas of real estate development and management, distribution, manufacturing, professional services and employee benefit plans.

Minuti has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and specializes in tax services and valuation. His areas of expertise include capital income tax, estate tax preparations, business succession planning, accounting and financial statements, business valuations and forensic accounting.

Moors specializes in accounting and auditing services for nonprofit organizations, high tech and professional service companies, as well as early-stage startups. He uses his vast experience and understanding of best practices to help clients strengthen their internal controls and streamline their accounting systems, and delivers clear and understandable financial statement audit presentations to audit committees, finance committees and boards of directors.

Peterson is a valuation analyst certified in financial forensics with extensive practical experience in addressing the needs and concerns of a wide variety of clients. Before joining Armanino, he served as a MP at a regional accountancy firm after establishing his own firm.

Robinson has broad-based experience working in a variety of industries, providing multi-faceted solutions to tax issues. He has expertise in corporate taxation, partnership taxation and individual taxation. His clients range from individuals to middle market and publicly traded entities.

Smiley has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting and provides general accounting and tax preparation services. His audit practice focuses on governmental special districts, low-income housing and nonprofit organizations.

Sheets focuses on international tax services and serves closely held multinational businesses, start-ups and early stage technology companies. Before joining Armanino, he served as the worldwide controller at an early stage company that received over $20 million through three rounds of funding and established subsidiaries in Germany and Japan.
