Lambert will continue to serve as co-MP through 2015. Lambert will remain with the firm after stepping down, returning primarily to a client service role, working with clients served by Johnson Lambert’s Chicago and Raleigh, N.C., offices.

Prescott joined Johnson Lambert in 1992 in the firm’s Burlington, Vt., office and was admitted to the firm’s partnership in 2006. He currently leads the firm’s Vermont and South Carolina offices. Prescott serves a diverse client base within the firm’s insurance and not-for-profit niche markets and is nationally recognized as a thought leader in the captive insurance and alternative risk sector.

In reflecting on his selection as MP, Prescott says, “I’m truly honored to be selected by our talented partnership group as the next MP of Johnson Lambert. This is an exciting time in the development of the firm, and we have a great foundation to build upon. I look forward to working with my partners and staff to continue our efforts in shaping a firm that is best-in-class in the markets in which we compete.”

Lambert says, “As Johnson Lambert LLP looks forward to celebrating our 30-year anniversary in 2016, I cannot imagine a better choice for a leader to continue the firm’s tremendous success and take us to a new level. John Prescott has a wonderful business sense and a deep understanding of Johnson Lambert’s culture.”
