Lundquist Named Among 2014 Leading Women by The Daily Record

Karin Lundquist, senior manager at New York-based CohnReznick (FY14 net revenue of $508.2 million) has been selected as recipient of The Daily Record’s 2014 Leading Women award.

The Daily Record’s Leading Women awards honor Maryland women aged 40 years or younger for the accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. A panel of business and legal professionals and a representative from The Daily Record selected the honorees based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change.

Through hard work and dedication, Lundquist has earned a leadership role as the youngest senior manager in CohnReznick’s Baltimore office. She trains her team to embody these same characteristics, helping many successful employees advance their careers within the firm.

“We are thrilled to see Karin recognized for all of her accomplishments, both professionally and within the Baltimore community,” says Mary Beth Norwood, Co-MP of CohnReznick’s Baltimore office. “She is an inspiration to her colleagues and never stops working to serve the needs of our clients and her community.”

Lundquist is working on a plan to execute a new audit training program for CohnReznick’s Baltimore office. As part of this effort, she has participated in the company-wide “Train Your Trainer” program, which helps employees learn how to teach their peer group. Recently, Lundquist helped coordinate with the firm’s India office to set up an exchange program and training tools, similar to the ones in the Baltimore office.

Lundquist has been with CohnReznick for 10 years. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, she was an auditor at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. She will be honored along with the other Leading Women at an awards reception and dinner Dec. 4 in Baltimore.
