Two Ohio Firms Join Forces

Two northwest Ohio accounting firms have merged to combine forces under the Gilmore, Jasion and Mahler name.

Findlay-based accounting firm Pry Professional Group (FY12 net revenue of $2.5 million) has merged with Gilmore, Jaison and Mahler of Maumee, Ohio (FY12 net revenue of $12.8 million).

GJM, which has about 80 employees, is the largest locally owned accounting, assurance, tax, and consulting firm in northwest Ohio, according to the company. Pry, which has about 25 employees, will become GJM’s Findlay office. Pry specialized in assurance, business advisory services, risk advisory services, health-care management, and tax consulting. The combined firm plans to specialize in the construction and real estate, health care, manufacturing and distribution, and utilities industries. “With this merger, the Pry employees are very excited to be able to offer additional services and expertise to industries and clients in northwest Ohio and Findlay,” says Roger Criblez, former CEO for the Pry Professional Group.
