MNP and MSCM Merge to Better Serve Toronto Area

MSCM of Toronto, a roughly $14 million firm with 11 partners and 60 team members, will be merging with Calgary, Alberta-based MNP on June 1.

The move, according to MNP, will give the firm “a significantly larger footprint” in the Greater Toronto area, increasing the number of offices there to four and 375 team members. MNP was looking to add more resources to serve the Toronto-area marketplace while MSCM was looking for an opportunity to offer more specialty services to its clients. “MNP has an organizational culture and values founded upon an unwavering commitment to people, both clients and team members that is similar to MSCM,” says David Danziger, Senior Partner, MSCM. MNP says it is Canada’s fastest-growing accounting firm, with 80 offices and more than 3,000 employees.
