FAF, FASB, GASB Get Rebranding Facelift

Three organizations that set accounting standards, all based in Norwalk, Conn., have launched new logos in anticipation of a 40th anniversary celebration, The Hour reported. The Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) oversees the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). All have received a facelift. FASB also launched a new website, and the FAF and GASB sites will debut soon. FASB’s new site  features user-friendly navigation, “plain English” explanations of major FASB projects, and a timeline of important events in the history of the three organizations. The new logos emphasize the unity among the organizations.
