Michael A. Cohen, Ryan Dudley and Amish Mehta have been admitted to partner effective Jan. 1 at New York City-based Friedman LLP (FY net revenue of $67.09 million). Cohen, an SEC Services Group and internal quality review member, provides audit and attestation services to a broad range of clients, including those in the financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing and wholesale/distribution industries. Dudley is the practice leader of the International Tax Services Group and specializes in developing cross-border commercial structures and financing strategies. Mehta, director of the Not-for-Profit Services Group, has spent more than 20 years providing accounting, auditing and advisory services to not-for-profit institutions.

Genevra Knight has been admitted to partner at Elk Grove, Ill.-based Porte Brown. Knight, with more than 14 years experience, is a leader in Porte Brown’s Audit, Not-for-Profit, and Construction Practice Groups.

Thomas E. Hollerback has been named president and CEO of Saginaw, Mich.-based Yeo & Yeo (FY11 net revenue of $27.34 million), assuming responsibility for the firm’s eight Michigan offices. In addition to managing the CPA practice, he becomes the CEO of affiliates Yeo & Yeo Computer Consulting and Affiliated Medical Billing.

Audit managers Todd Groeneveld and Stephen R. Mihalik have been admitted to partner at Troy, Mich.-based Doeren Mayhew (FY11 net revenue of $42.05 million). Groeneveld supervises risk-based assurance engagements for a variety of manufacturers, construction companies and auto dealerships. Mihalik specializes in the construction industry, including general contractors, road and bridge builders, and underground, demolition and other specialty trade contractors.

Wayne Morgan has been named MP of the Milwaukee office of Chicago-based Baker Tilly Virchow Krause (FY12 net revenue of $259 million). Morgan joined Baker Tilly in 1998, and has provided accounting and advisory services in manufacturing, wholesale-distribution, retail and professional services, the firm said.

Dennis Quichocho has been admitted to partner in San Ramon, Calif.-based Lindquist effective Jan. 1. Quichocho has 14 years of experience auditing a wide range of employee benefit plans, including those of Taft-Hartley trust funds and Fortune 500 companies in the technology, manufacturing and health care industries.

Kimberly Ray has retired from San Ramon, Calif.-based Lindquist after a 34-year career, which included serving as MP from 2001–2007. Along with firm founder Alan Lindquist and others, she helped the firm grow and establish its leadership in the Taft-Hartley, labor and not-for-profit industries, the firm said.

Thomas Torrillo has joined New York City-based Metis Group (FY11 net revenue of $12.8 million) as its audit partner and director of Retail and Consumer Products. Torrillo was previously partner at CohnReznick.
