Atlanta Best of the Best Acquires Nashville, Tenn. Firm

Atlanta-based Frazier & Deeter (FY11 net revenue of $37.3 million) announced that the acquisition signals its intent to expand into other major metropolitan areas.

Work & Greer has a terrific track record of client service since its founding in 1982 and has developed deep industry expertise in serving public utilities, which represents a great strategic fit with our service offerings,” say MP Seth McDaniel of Frazier & Deeter.

Ronny Greer, MP of Work & Greer, says, “We are excited about joining F&D, a firm we have known for many years and have long admired as a leader in our profession.”

David Deeter, co-founder of F&D, says that Nashville’s business community reminds him of Atlanta’s explosive growth in the early 1980s when the firm was founded. “Since that time Frazier & Deeter has grown from a two person firm to one of the largest firms in the country and that growth was fueled primarily by client referrals. We hope and believe that the culture we have developed of superior client service will be equally well received by the business leaders in Nashville who are making a difference in their business endeavors.”

The move will double the number of accountants at the Nashville firm, will operate under the Frazier & Deeter name this summer. Jason Meadows will serve as MP of F&D’s Nashville office.
