Citrin Cooperman Acquires Connecticut Firm

New York-based Citrin Cooperman (FY09 net revenue of $90 million) acquired Schwartz & Hofflich ($4 million revenue), continuing CC’s expansion and growth in Connecticut.

Joining CC are partners Neil Bayer, Lawrence Feldman, Barry Newman, Eric Prescott, Pasqualino Spagnoli and Gilbert Watkins and 14 staff.

The firm also announced that it will close its Southport, Conn., office and will move into the newly merged firm’s Norwalk, Conn., office. CC’s Connecticut office has seven partners and 20 staff.

The addition of the S&H partners, and its talented set of professionals, allows CC to offer a greater range of services to businesses and individuals in the Connecticut, Westchester and New York marketplace,” says Joel Cooperman, the CC’s MP. “Schwartz & Hofflich is well known for the expertise in the architectural and engineering industries as well its overall accounting, tax and consulting expertise. We believe it will be a good complement to the specialties and services we already offer in Connecticut and throughout our other offices.”

CC also has offices in New York City, White Plains, N.Y, Springfield, N.J., and Philadelphia.
