Beard Miller Company Names New Syracuse MP

Beard Miller Company (bmc) (FY08 net revenue of $75.2 million) named Wade Becker MP of the firm’s Syracuse, N.Y., office effective January 1, 2010. Becker will replace Donald Taylor. In the interim, as co-MP, Becker is working with Taylor to transition overall responsibility for managing and leading the office.

“In addition, our recently announced merger with Parente Randolph (FY08 net revenue of $74.2 million) means we will soon have even deeper resources and broader areas of expertise to serve Central New York.” With Mr. Becker as MP, “Mr. Taylor will be able to focus further on client service, while continuing to serve the firm in a valuable advisory role with respect to bmc’s growth and profitability in Central New York,” Becker says.

Becker’s position includes responsibility for the management of bmc’s Central New York operations, and developing long-term strategy and growth initiatives in the region. It is expected that his extensive commercial middle market experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, technology, service and retail will expand upon the firm’s existing industry and practice niches in financial services and not-for-profits in the state of New York.

Becker joined bmc in 2002 and has been a partner since 2008.
